The government authority in Santa Maria, California is seeking a vendor to provide on-site after-school programs at all 21 district school sites for 180 instructional days during the 2026–2027 regular school year. These programs are designed to support students' academic, social, emotional, and physical development, while fostering individual interests through hands-on and engaging learning experiences.
Services required include homework assistance, academic intervention and extension, and creating linkages between school-day and after-school personnel. The program should also improve access to health and wellness knowledge, increase participation in visual and performing arts, career-technical fields, and other areas of interest. Vendors are expected to promote awareness of different cultures, expand opportunities for service learning and community service, and increase college and career awareness, as well as youth entrepreneurial services.
Additionally, the provider must offer information, educational resources, parent engagement, and educational programming and activities for families. The contract period will be for one year, and vendors must submit any questions by March 9, 2026.
