The government authority in Orangeburg, South Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide joint use audit and pole inspection services. The contractor will perform field inspections of each assigned pole, identifying and documenting every attachment with positive identification of the attaching entity or ownership. Physical verification of ownership may be required using close range inspection methods, including ladders, climbing techniques, or aerial devices when necessary.
During the audit, contractors are prohibited from moving, disconnecting, marking, tagging, adjusting, or altering any attachment, communication facility, or DPU equipment. Limited incidental contact is permitted solely for measurement purposes, but no disturbance or modification of any line or attachment is allowed.
Questions regarding this project must be submitted by March 18, 2026, and a mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for March 11, 2026.
