The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, through the Maritime Advanced Technology Consortium (MATAC) managed by Advanced Technology International (ATI), has released a Request for Solutions (RFS) for the Joint Forward Assessment & Networking Gear (JFANG) project. This opportunity is structured as an Other Transaction project in alignment with 10 U.S.C. 4022.
The initiative aims to develop and deploy modular networking solutions that provide resilient network connectivity and data transport in support of joint force, multi–domain operations and Combatant Command experimentation. The project specifically seeks to address capability gaps in rapidly deployable networking and transport systems necessary for distributed and expeditionary environments.
Vendors will be responsible for integrating, configuring, deploying, and operating deployable networking kits to enable secure and reliable connectivity and data transport across distributed testing and experimentation environments. Participation is limited to MATAC members; those interested should ensure consortium membership prior to responding.
