Japanese Marketing and Trade Representative Services

A vendor is sought to provide Japanese marketing and trade representative services for Florida Citrus. The chosen provider will oversee the management of the annual budget as allocated and lead strategic planning efforts to expand the distribution and consumption of grapefruit in Japan.

Responsibilities include the development, execution, and evaluation of daily business activities aligned with agency direction. This encompasses marketing and public relations initiatives targeting consumers, the trade, and media; executing retail and foodservice promotions; managing advertising campaigns; conducting market research; and creating and maintaining web and social media assets for the agency. The vendor will also be responsible for managing third-party vendors as approved.

Additionally, the vendor will serve as the principal representative of the Florida Citrus industry to Japanese consumers, media, and key stakeholders such as importers, wholesalers, retailers, food manufacturers, and foodservice operators. Meeting with Florida Citrus exporters to update them on program developments and market insights is also expected. Questions regarding this opportunity must be submitted by January 23, 2026.
