A government authority based in Stateline, Nevada is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive IT technical support and services for a permitting and environmental agency. The agency comprises 75–80 employees and requires day-to-day support for its enterprise systems, data center, individual devices, and websites.
The scope includes management of physical infrastructure, such as server hosts, SAN, firewalls, and switches, as well as desktop support for staff and maintenance of tablets not connected to the network. The vendor will also maintain and operate GIS databases and data-driven websites, offering technical support for platforms including WordPress and SQL services.
Additional responsibilities cover infrastructure and systems support for the agency's GIS Administrator and Data team, with particular attention to managing SQL Server instances that host mission-critical applications. The contractor will also be responsible for procuring, installing, and managing SSL/TLS certificates for all agency web services and internal applications.
