DESCRIPTION


The government authority in Washington, DC is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive IT services. Scope of work includes conducting weekly updates for all desktop computers, laptops, and MacBooks in use within the organization. The selected vendor will also be responsible for daily monitoring and updating of managed antivirus software, as well as delivering preventive maintenance for all end user systems.

Additional services required encompass installation, configuration, and lifecycle management of devices; support for Microsoft Office 365 and other company-mandated applications; and overseeing network segregation alongside bandwidth management. The vendor will perform basic rewiring tasks, manage network ports to ensure only those required remain active, and maintain office-wide Wi-Fi, coordinating with the internet service provider when necessary.

Ongoing responsibilities include troubleshooting and bug resolution, providing support for home office setups (including network access, email, data backups, and permissions), delivering remote access support for users, and monitoring and preventing desktop-level network intrusions.
