A government authority in Rhode Island is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive IT services over a three-year contract. The scope of work includes full-service IT support covering desktop, web, networking, backup and recovery, and related technology functions. Key responsibilities involve troubleshooting, setup, upgrades, and repair of hardware and software, as well as setting up new computers, servers, network equipment, monitors, and peripherals.
Other tasks include updating operating systems for computers and mobile devices, monitoring data backups with Barracuda Echo, and procuring and managing renewals for web and email domains and SSL certificates for websites. The selected vendor will also provide advice on technology needs and trends, including security, data retention, user training, and collaboration tools.
Support for special projects is required, such as planning for office moves or redesigns, handling public records requests, and addressing technical needs for District Park related to pedestrian counters and security cameras. Questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by April 24, 2026.
