The government authority in Hamilton, Ohio seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive IT services, including the development of a strategic plan for IT improvement and implementation addressing critical needs. Services requested include network assessment covering directory services, server performance, SQL, Exchange, security, desktops, network, and databases. The scope also features ongoing general security consulting with regular vulnerability scanning and updates regarding malware and cyberattack prevention.

Additional services include a server virtualization assessment to evaluate relevant technologies, capacity management for 32 vCPU and 96GB RAM resources with continuous reserved access, and a range of professional services for network monitoring, management, and administration. Deliverables encompass both remote and on-site support as required, along with monitoring, updating, patching, and maintenance for network equipment, as well as specialized support for Microsoft Office 365 applications and Ericsson enterprise wireless solutions. The successful vendor should provide a comprehensive IT strategy for infrastructure, architecture, product selection, deployment, and ongoing management, including cloud-based solutions and the ability to subcontract for specialized security assessments.

Other elements include access for computer emergency response, VPN solutions, mobile onboard Wi-Fi, wireless, firewall, and facility security. The contract will span five years.
