North Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide a cloud-based IT service management and IT asset management system. The desired solution must offer comprehensive features, including incident, service, problem, change, and release management, as well as asset management, service level agreement support, knowledge management, and reporting capabilities. The system should include an API interface for all functions, utilizing OAuth or other token-based authentication for secure access, and allow full branding customization to meet organizational requirements.
The platform is expected to be compatible with major browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Safari, and support various operating systems including Windows 10 & 11, Apple MacOS, as well as mobile applications for Chromebooks, Android, and iOS devices. Key administrative features include the capability for administrators to assume user identities with comprehensive logging, as well as granular access and permission controls at the individual, group, location, and role levels. The system should provide item catalog permissions specific to user, group, role, or location, and support a multi-level request approval workflow.
