DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Ferndale, Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive IT managed services. The scope encompasses email administration, application management, infrastructure support and troubleshooting, and robust network perimeter security including ITDR, MDR, and phishing prevention. Disaster recovery management and both on-site and remote end-user support are required, including two embedded onsite resources Monday through Thursday.
The selected provider will support project management and the implementation of new IT initiatives, as well as offer ongoing consultation. Additional responsibilities include technology inventory management, purchasing and lifecycle management, and participating in quarterly IT strategy meetings and bi-weekly IT team meetings with city leadership.
After-hours and weekend support is expected for emergency needs, and after-hour meeting support for broadcasting is also part of the requirements. The vendor will be expected to partner closely with city officials to align IT strategy with organizational goals.
