DESCRIPTION

The government authority located in Silverton, Oregon is seeking a qualified vendor to provide IT duct room modifications. The scope of work includes installing a full-size condensate drain pan under the agency unit, adding a drain with a p-trap, and routing a 3/4" condensate drain into the existing condensate system. Supply boots are to be shifted forward of the server racks, with the construction of a support arm on the face or server rack to position the supply approximately 8 inches in front, for a typical set of five.

Unit controls must be relocated from the access panel to a wall-mounted cabinet as shown in project drawings, ensuring that the access panel remains fully accessible for humidifier maintenance. The contractor must also relocate the 16x16 supply grilles to the side of the duct to provide horizontal airflow into the server rack's cold aisle and adjust the airflow direction appropriately. Additional requirements include relocating and capping duct take-offs, creating new 18x18 duct connections, installing baffles or seals to prevent cold air short cycling, and adjusting or relocating thermostats according to the plan.

The contractor is also responsible for removing old ductwork and installing new components per specifications. Any fabricated support arms and condensate pans must integrate with the existing infrastructure. The contract period is one year.
