DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Toms River, New Jersey, is seeking a vendor to provide time and materials (T&M) irrigation system maintenance and repair services for college-owned facilities and properties. The appointed contractor will be responsible for all aspects of irrigation upkeep, including routine maintenance, troubleshooting, emergency repairs, as well as seasonal services such as winterization and spring start-up.

Qualified firms will address issues such as broken or leaking sprinkler heads, damaged pipes and fittings, malfunctioning valves and controllers, backflow prevention devices, well water systems, and all other repairs necessary to ensure full system functionality. Emergency services are required for urgent irrigation failures that may result in property damage, water loss, safety hazards, or disrupt normal operations.

Additional responsibilities include winterizing irrigation systems by inspecting components, shutting off water, and properly draining lines, as well as spring start-up procedures such as system pressurization, leak inspection, electronic controller adjustment, and system programming. Maintenance, repair, and emergency support for existing well water systems are also included within the scope.
