The Town of Gilbert, Arizona is soliciting proposals for irrigation system improvements and lake renovations at Freestone and Crossroads Parks. The project scope involves a variety of upgrades, including lake dredging, replacement of lake liners, pump replacements and upgrades, turf removal to prevent runoff into the lakes, aeration equipment improvements, and reconditioning of pump stations. Overall, these enhancements aim to improve the operational efficiency and environmental sustainability of the park's water systems.
Additionally, the project calls for a complete replacement of the existing irrigation systems at both parks, starting from downstream of the current pump stations. The new systems will be designed to support future park development and address current deficiencies. The contract for these services will be for a one-year period. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled to provide interested vendors with an opportunity to review project details and site conditions.
