DESCRIPTION

The government authority located in Pasco, Washington is seeking a qualified contractor to provide irrigation system expansion services. The project involves constructing a new irrigation booster pump station to enhance the agency's irrigation systems. This includes the installation of a 30-inch diameter suction pipeline within the agency's right-of-way near the PP6.0 Canal, designed to transfer irrigation water to the new pump station.

The contract further requires the installation of 12-inch, 16-inch, and 24-inch diameter irrigation mains extending along Broadmoor Boulevard, supplementing the existing Low Zone irrigation infrastructure. The booster pump station’s initial configuration calls for two 5 cubic feet per second (cfs) Vertical Turbine Pumps (VTPs) and two 2.5-cfs VTPs, with future capacity for two more 5-cfs VTPs.

Additionally, the project scope includes constructing an 1,800-square-foot concrete masonry unit pump station building featuring sound attenuation measures and a 2-ton bridge crane. The site will be enclosed by an eight-foot-tall perimeter wall. The contract period is one year and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for April 8, 2026.
