DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Carson, California is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive investment management services to oversee the administration and management of the district's investment portfolio, which is currently valued at approximately $77 million. The selected firm will be responsible for daily management of the portfolio in accordance with specified investment objectives designed to maximize the rate of return on public funds while minimizing losses arising from market fluctuations or issue defaults.
Services will include portfolio administration, research and recommendations for purchasing and selling securities, and transaction facilitation. The successful vendor must also offer investment management and advisory services, staff support for information, advice, and training related to fixed income securities and investments, as well as the provision of monthly portfolio statements. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted no later than March 23, 2026.
