The City of Alberta is seeking a vendor to develop and implement an investment attraction marketing plan, as well as create associated marketing materials. The scope involves translating the city’s economic development strategy (2025–2029) and investment attraction plan (2026) into clear, actionable marketing and outreach activities. The selected vendor will be expected to craft a sector-specific marketing plan that aligns with strategic priorities, articulates industry-specific value propositions, and delivers targeted messaging for priority sectors and investor audiences.
The vendor should identify tactical, paid, and owned media approaches that are evidence-based and tailored to the audiences identified in the plan. Recommendations must include clear rationale for channel selection and be actionable within the city’s guidelines. Additionally, a comprehensive suite of investor-ready marketing materials will be produced, supporting lead generation, investor outreach, and business development activities, all consistent with the city’s corporate identity. Equipping the Economic Development team with robust messaging tools, collateral, and guidance, the goal is to improve lead quality, lead generation, and conversion rates.
