Intranet and Website Hosting, Maintenance and Support Service using WordPress CMS

A service provider is sought to deliver comprehensive intranet and website hosting, maintenance, and support services utilizing the WordPress CMS. Responsibilities include monthly site maintenance, hosting, and ongoing support for the existing website. Maintenance and support services must cover all aspects of WordPress, including themes, plugins, coding, addressing broken links, making changes to site copy or design, site backups, and performance optimization. The appointed provider will handle hosting issues and ensure all current website content is retained; however, content may be revised or updated as needed to maintain accuracy, relevance, and functionality, pending agency approval.

Hosting must be supplied on a dedicated server with unlimited disk space (currently 1TB), 50GB monthly traffic allowance, FTP access, and MySQL databases. The service includes 24/7 website monitoring, with protection against distributed denial of service (DDOS) attacks and continuous service availability. Unlimited 24-hour technical support is required via telephone, email, and a ticketing portal. The website must support multiple South African languages, allowing easy upload of content in languages such as English, Afrikaans, IsiZulu, Sepedi, SiSwati, Tshivenda, Sotho, Setswana, Xitsonga, Ndebele, and Xhosa. The contract will span three years.
