A county in Florida is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a comprehensive Intersection Automated Enforcement Safety System. The selected contractor will supply, install, maintain, and operate a fully integrated system for automated traffic enforcement at designated arterial intersections. This includes deploying red light and traffic infraction detector equipment capable of monitoring one to four approaches per intersection.
The system must feature secure, internet-based viewing access for members of the public who receive violation notices, as well as support for court operations. Two-factor user authentication is required for all web-enabled applications. An online case management and violation adjudication platform, including modules for hearings and payment processing, must be provided at no additional cost to the agency. The contractor will also be responsible for initial data processing (such as reviewing images and video for potential violations) and for baseline data collection at selected intersections through at least 24 consecutive hours of monitoring, which will inform intersection and approach selection for the project.
All hardware, software, back-office violation processing, site design, installation, and ongoing system operations are to be included in the contracted services.
