DESCRIPTION

An agency managing a portfolio of conservation areas, trails, and public access points is seeking qualified vendors to provide interpretive and trailhead signage panels. The signage must be fabricated using high-durability graphic application methods suitable for long-term outdoor installation, ensuring a positive visitor experience, wayfinding, education, and stewardship.

Panel sizes required include interpretive signs (450 × 1,470 mm) and trailhead signs (1,220 × 915 mm). Graphics must be integral to the panel surface, specifically designed for extended outdoor durability. Surface-applied vinyl or short-life laminated film systems will not be accepted.

Acceptable graphic application approaches include embedded or encapsulated systems, powder-coated or resin-based methods, or other techniques that offer equivalent resistance to UV exposure, moisture, abrasion, and vandalism. Panels must feature high resistance to environmental degradation, have factory-applied finishes and graphics with a non-glare matte or eggshell finish, and be constructed to prevent water intrusion. The installation should be suitable for long-term use in public, high-traffic environments.

The contract period is one year. All questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by May 5, 2026.
