The government authority in Ontario is seeking a vendor to provide internet services for a wide area network supporting 35 locations. These sites include elementary schools, secondary schools, and administrative offices that require reliable, high-bandwidth, low-latency connectivity for instructional, administrative, and operational use.
The network is expected to expand over the next two years to include one additional secondary school and two new elementary schools. Most locations are connected through fibre optic links, while a limited number of rural sites are served through site-to-site VPN connections over commercial broadband cable services.
Questions related to the solicitation must be submitted by May 15, 2026. The resulting contract is anticipated to run for a period of five years.
