Oswego Community Unit School District 308
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The State of Illinois is seeking a comprehensive solution for internet content filtering, student safety monitoring, and classroom management within school environments. The desired system must offer real-time filtering of web content across all devices, with capabilities for SSL decryption, guest network filtering, and scheduled reporting for both administrators and parents. Reporting and alerting features are required to ensure safe browsing compliance throughout the district.
The student safety component should employ AI-driven and human analysis of digital activity—including search queries, documents, and emails—to detect potential signs of self-harm, bullying, or mental health concerns. Integration with Google Suite and support for Google or Classlink Single Sign-On are required for seamless access and functionality.
For classroom management, the solution must provide real-time visibility into student screens, enable screen locking, URL pushing, engagement monitoring, and messaging tools for teachers. Robust integration with Google Classroom and Classlink is essential for both automatic and manual rostering. Additional requirements include role-based access controls, the ability for teachers to selectively allow or block websites by class period, and compatibility with Windows, Mac, and Chrome OS devices.
The contract for the selected solution will be for a one-year period.
