DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Oregon is seeking a provider for international student insurance services designed to deliver comprehensive health coverage to its International Student population. The agency aims to establish a long-term partnership that ensures quality benefits through a hard waiver system, requiring proof of acceptable comparable coverage for plan enrollment.

The services include fully insured benefit plans, claim adjudication, claim incident reporting, and distribution of printed materials such as brochures and plan summaries. The provider must also offer professional customer service to students, assistance with plan marketing, athletic student coverage, telehealth services, emergency services, medical evacuation or transport, family visit benefits, and repatriation of mortal remains. Telehealth offerings should be available 24/7 for general medical and mental healthcare needs, including the ability for students to speak with licensed doctors, counselors, or psychiatrists by web, phone, or mobile app. Services must support prescription management, live coaching, digital programs, diverse language options, and crisis care around the clock.

The contract will be awarded for a one-year period.
