DESCRIPTION
The government authority located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin seeks a qualified vendor to deliver comprehensive internal audit services. The aim of this engagement is to ensure that agency programs adhere to the highest fiduciary standards and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as internal agency policies. The selected contractor will assess that programs and processes are aligned with industry best practices, benchmarking both public and private sector resources where appropriate.
The internal auditor will be responsible for identifying and addressing significant legislative or regulatory matters affecting the agency, as well as evaluating the consistency of operations with established missions, objectives, and strategic plans.
