DESCRIPTION
The government authority in Decatur, Georgia is seeking a qualified vendor to provide interim landscape services. The landscaping period will begin the first week of April and continue through the last week of June. In the event of rain delays, contractors are required to submit an adjusted schedule that accommodates any missed days, subject to review and possible modification by the Recreation, Parks and Cultural Affairs department, especially in the case of scheduled park events.
Inspectors may verify that parks are serviced within the same week as scheduled. Mowing requirements specify that all areas must be cut evenly, avoiding ragged edges or scalping. Contractors are expected to remow as necessary until clippings are reduced to fine compost, alternate mowing patterns to prevent rutting, and maintain sharp mower blades at all times. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by March 13, 2026.
