The Great Plains Area (GPA) Indian Health Service (IHS) Division of Acquisition Management intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price, commercial service purchase order for the renewal of licenses, software support, and connectivity agreement for the Laboratory Information System (Instrument Manager) across various GPA IHS hospitals and clinics. This agreement covers the critical middleware that enables communication between laboratory analyzers and the Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS)/Electronic Health Record (EHR) medical software, thereby providing the necessary licenses for ongoing software usage.
The contract will have a period of performance beginning from the date of award and continuing for one year. The sole source justification is based on the requirement that the middleware and its related services can only be provided by one responsible source, ensuring continued and uninterrupted function of the Laboratory Information System within the healthcare facilities.
Interested parties who believe they can fulfill this requirement are invited to submit a written statement of capabilities, providing clear and convincing evidence that competition would be beneficial to the government. All submissions must be sent via email as an Adobe PDF attachment. Costs associated with preparing and submitting these materials are the sole responsibility of the respondent.
