Ontario is seeking a vendor to deliver an Integrated Transit Planning and Scheduling Software (TPSS) Solution that unifies transit planning and scheduling capabilities within a modern digital platform. The objective is to implement a solution that aligns with industry standards while supporting future operational and technological advancements. This platform will enable fully integrated workflows, promoting efficiency, data integrity, and enhanced service quality.
The desired TPSS must support both planning and scheduling functions, providing state-of-the-art features for compliance with labor policies and regulations, intuitive interfaces for staff adoption, and robust tools for efficient workforce management. The software should automate and streamline processes, improve resource optimization, and maximize the use of vehicles and personnel without compromising service quality or financial accountability.
Additional requirements include the ability to integrate with agency systems, support scalable and future-proof transit solutions, and leverage technologies such as AI and machine learning for advanced predictive analysis and scenario planning. The platform should also promote sustainability, support electrification initiatives, and continuously innovate to improve the rider experience with real-time service adjustments.
Vendors must submit all questions regarding the solution by December 4, 2025.
