Colorado is seeking a vendor to provide integrated nutrition software for use across its facilities. The software should support comprehensive menu and recipe planning, detailed nutrition analysis, recipe management, ordering, and inventory management functions for the Nutrition Services Department at each location.
Key requirements include Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capabilities, allowing standardized exchange of business documents such as purchase orders and invoices between systems. The software must also identify product storage locations and manage all stages of the recipe life cycle—creation, maintenance, scaling, and analysis.
The system should offer robust configuration options, enabling recipes to be categorized and customized by concept, meal type, cuisine, dietary attributes, nutrient categories, process types, main components, allergens, and more. Additional features include associating vendor pricing with recipes, developing preparation instructions for printouts, and supporting menu customization with text, shapes, and images.
