Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The entity is seeking a vendor to provide integrated infrastructure scale-out storage and data protection solutions. The scope includes implementation of an integrated backup and recovery platform to replace the existing CommVault-to-tape solution, eliminating reliance on tape for routine operations. The new solution should feature a management and automation platform that enables policy-based provisioning, lifecycle management, and self-service capabilities.
Vendors should provide cloud tiering capabilities to move appropriate data to S3-compatible object storage, with a preference for solutions that natively integrate with the data protection platform. Migration services for transitioning both backup and file services from the current infrastructure, and turnkey migration from the Omnissa (Horizon) platform to modern hardware are required. Enterprise-grade x86 servers optimized for virtualization and key workloads must be provided, as well as scale-out file storage solutions for production, disaster recovery, and archival use cases.
Inactive file data currently remains on primary storage, increasing costs and complicating recovery processes. The proposed solution should address these inefficiencies. The contract will be for an initial period of one year.
