SUMMARY

One-year contract to provide and administer all insurance services, including coverage management and claims handling, in Barbados.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Must be a suitably qualified and experienced insurance brokerage firm
Must submit a copy of the company's Certificate of Incorporation, Amalgamation, or Continuance
Must submit a Certificate of Good Standing for tenderers incorporated in Barbados
Must provide a Barbados Revenue Authority Tax Clearance Certificate
Must provide a National Insurance and Social Security Service (NISSS) Clearance Certificate
Must submit a valid Insurance Company/Broker License and License Receipt for 2026
Must provide consortium documentation if submitting as a joint venture or partnership

9 months

TIMELINE

Submissions must be uploaded no later than 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 17th, 2026.

The contract will cover the period July 1st, 2026 to March 31st, 2027.

DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive insurance services. Key responsibilities include managing the information gathering and invitation process for all required insurance policies, ensuring that the necessary insurance coverage is in place, and handling any resulting insurance claims throughout the contract period.

The contract will last for one year. Vendors are required to submit all questions regarding the RFP no later than June 10, 2026.
