DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Michigan is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive insurance consulting services related to its lending programs for construction and property rehabilitation. The scope includes advising on insurance requirements imposed by the Authority as a lender for property, liability, workers' compensation, builder's risk, and crime and dishonesty insurance.
The selected consultant will provide ongoing technical information, assistance, and training to Authority staff regarding the development of insurance guidelines, insurance requirement parameters, and industry trends, including but not limited to captive insurance. Additional responsibilities include offering guidance on market changes, assisting in the preparation of educational and advisory materials for stakeholders, and supporting Authority staff in reviewing insurance certificates, policies, and related documentation for developments and properties financed or owned by the Authority.
