DESCRIPTION

The government authority located in Osage Beach, Missouri is seeking professional insurance consulting services to evaluate and enhance its insurance programs, including general, airport, cybersecurity liability, property, and worker’s compensation coverage. The selected consultant will conduct comprehensive policy reviews and coverage assessments to evaluate the adequacy of municipal asset, vehicle, and specialized facility insurance. They will identify any gaps, overlaps, or areas of underinsurance and recommend updates to improve future coverage.

The consultant will perform cost and value analyses, reviewing the cost-effectiveness of current premiums, deductibles, and coverage limits, as well as benchmarking the agency’s coverage and pricing against similar municipalities. Suggestions will be made to improve cost efficiency without reducing protection, including recommendations for policies with non-commission-based premiums to ensure transparency.

Risk profile evaluation is also required, including analysis of the agency’s exposure related to high-value and specialized assets. The consultant should ensure policies address environmental liability, public safety risks, and operational continuity, and provide guidance on risk mitigation, catastrophic loss planning, and continuity strategies.
