DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Delaware is seeking proposals for comprehensive insurance brokerage and consulting services. The selected vendor will be responsible for managing and monitoring the authority-wide insurance program, marketing and implementing insurance policies, and administering all insurance coverage. Additional responsibilities include providing claims management and loss control services, assigning and reviewing insurance requirements for projects, and ensuring contractor and consultant certificate compliance.

The brokerage firm will also be tasked with developing criteria for qualified insurers, considering worldwide insurance markets such as domestic, international, and foreign companies. Duties involve policy verification, monitoring and requesting necessary changes, approving all premium audit statements and invoices, and managing communications with insurers regarding changes in premiums, terms, or cancellations.
