DESCRIPTION


A government authority in Middletown, Connecticut seeks a provider of insurance brokerage services. The selected firm will deliver property and casualty brokerage services, consulting, and employee benefits consulting for supplemental programs such as basic and voluntary life insurance, long term disability (LTD), and voluntary long-term disability (VLTD) coverage. The scope also includes employee benefits consulting related to health, dental, and vision coverages currently in place, as well as support for claims resolution and trend analysis.

The awarded company will help evaluate, design, procure, implement, and administer benefit programs to ensure cost-effectiveness, competitiveness, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the strategic goals for employee total rewards. The insurance portfolio covers property, liability, cyber coverage, auto liability (provided through a consortium), property and business interruption, boiler and machinery, and employment practices liability.

Additionally, the broker is expected to evaluate current cybersecurity risk exposures and recommend appropriate coverage, as well as assist in reporting, tracking, and resolving claims. Regular claims status reports and trend analyses are required throughout the three-year contract period.
