DESCRIPTION


A government authority located in Santa Fe, New Mexico is seeking a qualified vendor to provide insurance broker services. Required services include brokerage, advisory, and risk management for professional liability, property insurance, general liability, fire, and extended insurance coverage. The selected broker will review and assess the agency’s current insurance program, operations, exposures, and assets, and will design a comprehensive insurance package tailored to the agency’s specific risks. Consulting services, data gathering for underwriting, and loss information procurement are also expected.

Risk control services will include answering coverage, claims, and loss prevention questions, as well as recommending risk mitigation strategies and providing advice on coverage for special risks. The broker will assist in constructing and interpreting insurance and indemnity agreements and in monitoring reserves, rates, claim trends, loss control efforts, and other related metrics. Claims management services include assisting in claim preparation, filing, advocacy, and monitoring, as well as contract analysis and recommendations for modifications to reduce risk exposure.

All questions related to the RFP must be submitted by April 28, 2026. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on April 27, 2026.
