SUMMARY

The U.S. Navy is seeking industry feedback on innovative methods to improve DFSP management, optimize fuel infrastructure, and utilize underused land and resources across Navy locations in the continental U.S.

DESCRIPTION

The Defense Logistics Agency, on behalf of the United States Navy, is seeking information from industry regarding innovative, cost-effective solutions for managing Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs). This initiative is focused on enhancing bulk fuels infrastructure to improve operational readiness and leveraging underutilized land, resources, and infrastructure assets.

The Request for Information (RFI) is for industry input on approaches and concepts that could enhance government fuel facilities, reduce long-term sustainment, maintenance, and modernization costs, and identify opportunities for public-private partnerships. The Navy aims to enable productive use of underutilized assets at DFSPs to reduce lifecycle costs. All Navy CONUS (continental United States) locations will be considered for the potential implementation of these innovative solutions.

The responses will be used for planning and feasibility assessment and do not constitute a request for proposals or quotations. Interested parties are encouraged to share relevant experience and creative concepts for leveraging Navy-owned assets, particularly as they pertain to the petroleum fuel infrastructure, piers, and associated land and facilities.
