SUMMARY

The U.S. Navy seeks industry input on innovative and cost-effective DFSP management, infrastructure enhancement, and use of underutilized land and resources across all CONUS locations.

DESCRIPTION

The Defense Logistics Agency, representing the United States Navy, is inviting industry feedback regarding innovative, cost-effective strategies for the management of Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs). The focus includes enhancing bulk fuel infrastructure to bolster operational readiness and leveraging underutilized land, infrastructure assets, and resources for optimal use.

This Request for Information (RFI) seeks input on partnership opportunities with the private sector to improve the condition of Navy fuel facilities, while reducing long-term sustainment, maintenance, and modernization costs. Respondents are encouraged to propose creative approaches that could enable productive use of underutilized facilities, including petroleum fuel facilities, piers, infrastructure, and related resources, thus lowering the lifecycle costs of DFSPs.

The initiative applies to all Navy locations within the continental United States. The collected information will support the evaluation of potential agreements for the utilization and enhancement of Navy assets associated with DFSP operations.
