The Defense Logistics Agency, on behalf of the United States Navy, is seeking information from industry regarding innovative, cost-effective solutions for the management of Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs), enhancement of bulk fuels infrastructure, and utilization of underused land, resources, and access assets. The objective is to improve operational readiness and reduce long-term sustainment, maintenance, and modernization costs at Navy fuel facilities.
This Request for Information (RFI) invites private-sector entities to propose creative approaches for leveraging underutilized government property, including land, infrastructure, petroleum fuel facilities, piers, and other assets. The goal is to establish potential partnerships that support the productive use of these resources, thereby reducing the lifecycle costs of DFSP operations for the Navy.
The Navy is considering all CONUS (Continental United States) locations for this initiative, and submissions will inform future decisions regarding agreements and possible solicitations related to DFSP management and asset utilization.
