Innovative Solutions for DFSP Management and Infrastructure Enhancement

The Defense Logistics Agency, on behalf of the United States Navy, is seeking information from industry regarding innovative and cost-effective solutions for Defense Fuel Support Point (DFSP) management, infrastructure enhancement, and utilization of underutilized land, resources, and assets. This request aims to identify approaches that improve operational readiness through the enhancement of bulk fuels infrastructure and the strategic use of real property and existing resources.

The Navy is particularly interested in creative partnerships with private sector entities to enhance government fuel facilities, reduce lifecycle costs, and support sustainment, maintenance, and modernization objectives. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, leveraging underused land, piers, petroleum fuel facilities, and implementing new management or operational models. All Navy CONUS locations are under consideration for participation in this initiative.

Information gathered through this Request for Information (RFI) will inform government planning and does not commit the government to issuing a solicitation or awarding a contract. Responses will help evaluate the feasibility and benefits of future agreements involving DFSP management and infrastructure enhancement.
