SUMMARY

The Defense Logistics Agency and the U.S. Navy seek industry input on innovative management and infrastructure solutions for DFSPs, with an emphasis on leveraging underutilized land and assets nationwide.

DESCRIPTION

The Defense Logistics Agency, on behalf of the United States Navy, is seeking information from industry on innovative and cost-effective solutions for managing Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs), enhancing bulk fuel infrastructure to improve operational readiness, and leveraging underutilized land, resources, and infrastructure assets. This Request for Information aims to gather industry perspectives on enhancing government fuel facilities and reducing long-term sustainment, maintenance, and modernization costs through creative partnerships with private-sector entities.

The Navy is interested in proposals that enable the productive use of underutilized land, infrastructure assets, and resources to ultimately reduce the lifecycle costs of DFSP operations. All Navy CONUS (Continental United States) locations are under consideration. The gathered information will help assess the feasibility and benefits of potential agreements for the utilization of land, infrastructure, petroleum fuel facilities, piers, and the adoption of innovative DFSP solutions at various sites. The RFI does not constitute a solicitation for proposals but serves to inform future requirements and partnership opportunities.
