DESCRIPTION

The Defense Logistics Agency, representing the United States Navy, is seeking information from industry on innovative and cost-effective solutions for the management of Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs), enhancement of bulk fuels infrastructure, and utilization of underused land and resources. This effort aims to identify new approaches to enhance operational readiness through infrastructure improvements and productive use of existing real property, including partnerships with private-sector entities.

The Navy is interested in strategies that can reduce long-term sustainment, maintenance, and modernization costs for DFSPs. Respondents are encouraged to propose creative solutions for leveraging underutilized land, infrastructure assets, and access to decrease lifecycle expenses. All Navy CONUS locations are under consideration for this potential initiative. NAICS codes relevant to this RFI include natural gas distribution, petroleum bulk storage and distribution, wholesale trade, logistics consulting, facilities support, port and harbor operations, marine cargo handling, airport operations, warehousing, and real estate leasing.

Please note, this is a Request for Information (RFI) issued for planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation, nor does it commit the government to a contract. The information gathered will help evaluate the feasibility and benefits of future agreements for DFSP management and infrastructure enhancement.
