The Defense Logistics Agency, on behalf of the United States Navy, is seeking information from industry regarding potential solutions for effective management of Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs). Interested parties are invited to propose innovative and cost-effective strategies for enhancing bulk fuels infrastructure to improve operational readiness and for leveraging underutilized land, resources, and infrastructure assets.
This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to gather insights for possible partnerships between the Navy and private-sector organizations, with a focus on improving the material condition of DFSPs, utilizing underused land and assets, and ultimately reducing lifecycle costs. While this is not a solicitation for proposals or quotations, the information collected will help the Navy assess the feasibility and benefits of creative solutions, including the productive use of real estate, fuel facilities, piers, and other resources at various sites.
All Navy locations within the continental United States (CONUS) are under consideration for this initiative. Relevant NAICS codes include natural gas distribution, petroleum bulk stations, warehouses, logistics, pipeline transportation, port operations, real estate, and facilities support.
