SUMMARY

The US Navy is seeking industry input on innovative solutions for managing and enhancing Defense Fuel Support Points and making productive use of underutilized land, resources, and infrastructure across its CONUS locations.

DESCRIPTION

The Defense Logistics Agency, on behalf of the United States Navy, is seeking information from industry on innovative and cost-effective approaches to manage Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs), enhance bulk fuels infrastructure for improved operational readiness, and leverage underutilized land, resources, and infrastructure assets.

This Request for Information aims to identify opportunities for partnerships with private sector entities that can offer creative strategies to upgrade government fuel storage and distribution facilities, while ultimately reducing long-term sustainment, maintenance, and modernization costs. Respondents are encouraged to share ideas pertaining to the productive use of underutilized DFSP land, infrastructure, petroleum fuel facilities, and related resources that may reduce the lifecycle costs for the Navy.

All Navy CONUS (Continental United States) locations are under consideration for these enhancements. The Navy is interested in exploring the feasibility and benefits of such partnerships through feedback received in this process. While this is not a solicitation for proposals, the results may inform future contracting or partnership opportunities.
