The Defense Logistics Agency, on behalf of the United States Navy, is seeking information from industry regarding potential interest in providing innovative, cost-effective solutions for managing Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs). This initiative includes enhancing bulk fuels infrastructure to improve operational readiness and leveraging underutilized land, resources, infrastructure assets, and access. The aim is to identify partnership opportunities with private-sector entities to improve the material condition of DFSPs, facilitate productive use of underutilized land, and efficiently utilize infrastructure to reduce the long-term costs associated with DFSP sustainment, maintenance, and modernization.
All Navy CONUS (continental United States) locations are considered under this effort. The information gathered will assist in evaluating the feasibility and benefits of agreements related to the utilization of underused land and facilities, as well as the implementation of innovative DFSP solutions at various sites. This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational and planning purposes only, with no commitment to future procurement or solicitation.
