SUMMARY

The United States Navy seeks input from industry on novel approaches for DFSP management, infrastructure upgrades, and utilization of underused properties at Navy sites nationwide.

DESCRIPTION

The Defense Logistics Agency, on behalf of the United States Navy, is seeking information from industry regarding potential interest in providing innovative, cost-effective solutions for managing Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs), enhancing bulk fuels infrastructure, and leveraging underutilized land, resources, and assets. The Navy is exploring opportunities for partnerships with private-sector entities that can improve the operational readiness of government fuel facilities while reducing long-term costs associated with sustainment, maintenance, and modernization.

This Request for Information (RFI) aims to identify creative approaches for the productive use of underutilized infrastructure and resources, such as petroleum fuel facilities, piers, and other assets at various Navy sites across the Continental United States (CONUS). Interested parties are invited to share innovative concepts that could contribute to reducing the lifecycle costs of DFSPs and maximizing the utility of Navy-owned properties. The information collected will be used for planning and assessment purposes and does not constitute a request for proposals or a commitment to future contracting.
