DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Illinois is seeking vendors to provide innovative commercial solutions for transforming their information technology infrastructure. The primary objectives are to implement secure, scalable, and efficient methodologies that facilitate IT transformation across the core, edge, and cloud components supporting Air Force operations.

Current challenges include outdated hardware and software, which contribute to degraded performance, frequent outages, and an unsustainable maintenance burden. This legacy infrastructure limits scalability and impedes rapid, data-driven decision making crucial for operational success. The contracted solution should replace or upgrade the rigid on-premises systems with flexible, resilient technology capable of meeting evolving mission demands, surge capacity requirements, and rapid recovery needs.

Vendors are expected to propose comprehensive approaches that break down silos, enhance security, and improve overall IT agility in a complex, multi-domain environment.
