DESCRIPTION

The City seeks a vendor to develop a comprehensive five-year Information Technology (IT) Strategic Plan to guide planning, procurement, implementation, and management of current and future IT investments. The project includes a review and evaluation of the City's existing IT infrastructure such as hardware, software, network systems, and data centers. Vendors will conduct a thorough analysis of future IT requirements in alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

The successful proposer will recommend an IT governance framework, including processes, roles, and a decision-making body. A detailed cybersecurity strategy and roadmap must be created by reviewing current cybersecurity practices and proposing robust measures to protect the organization's assets. Additionally, the assessment will cover the current organizational structure of IT staff, identifying strategies to recruit, train, and retain talent, along with recommendations for skills gap training. Review of replacement budgeting, technology refresh cycles, and an IT satisfaction assessment are also required. The contract period will last one year.
