The government authority in California is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive information technology services. Key responsibilities include network management and infrastructure support, continuous system monitoring and response, and network security encompassing anti-virus measures, security updates, and patch management. The vendor will be responsible for managing and supporting disaster recovery systems and backups as well as delivering 24/7/365 help desk support, including on-call, after-hours, on-site, and remote assistance.
Services also extend to Microsoft software and systems support, application and hardware management, remote and cellular communications support for devices such as squad cars, PCs, laptops, tablets, and smartphones, as well as support for virtualization platforms like VMWare ESX/HyperV. VoIP and analog telephone systems management are required, along with on-site setup and troubleshooting, and documentation of systems, networks, and applications.
The selected vendor will provide weekly reports detailing system monitoring, help desk activities, software updates, and patch management. Additional responsibilities include IT project implementation, execution, coordination, and ongoing support. The contract period will be for one year, with all questions regarding the RFP to be submitted by May 1, 2026.
