The government authority located in North Bergen, New Jersey seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive information technology consulting and management services. The selected firm will be responsible for troubleshooting computer issues, maintaining servers, and managing the network to support current and future technology needs, while proactively preventing and handling technical issues.
Key responsibilities include providing on-site IT consultant support and management as needed, ensuring remote support coverage for uninterrupted service, and assisting users with operational and emergency situations such as server or email outages. The vendor will deliver proactive system maintenance for all network devices, including oversight of warranties, asset and network status, routine maintenance, monthly security reviews, and implementation of best practices to prevent cyber-attacks.
Additional duties cover LAN/WAN troubleshooting, server and workstation maintenance, software and hardware updates, installations, and configurations. The provider will conduct structured system protection such as firewall maintenance, backups, and antivirus updates, and confirm completion of maintenance checks. Further services include supporting data backup and recovery, email archiving, inventory and license documentation, and pass-through invoicing for Microsoft Office 365 support hosting services. The vendor will document IT processes and procedures and assist with strategic network security planning and recommendations for future system upgrades.
