The government authority in Hastings, Minnesota is seeking a vendor to conduct a comprehensive internal and external network penetration test as part of an information technology security assessment service. The project will require a designated County IT Security Analyst to coordinate internal resources and ensure alignment between County stakeholders and the contractor throughout the engagement.

The selected contractor will be provided with timely access to necessary systems, networks, applications, documentation, and personnel, including credentials, test accounts, or VPN access for penetration testing activities. The County will ensure all in-scope systems are prepared and communicate relevant operational constraints, maintenance, or outages that may affect testing. Additionally, the contractor will receive guidance on County security policies, compliance requirements, and operational procedures, as well as support for reviewing interim findings and coordinating incident response for any identified vulnerabilities.

The scope includes logistical support for scheduling meetings, interviews, and technical walkthroughs, with workspace or virtual meeting access as needed. The authority will facilitate timely decision-making, feedback, and approvals to advance project milestones and remediation priorities.
