City of Pahokee

The city of Pahokee, Florida is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive information technology consulting services. The scope includes 24/7 monitoring and support, continuous remote network monitoring, server hardening, and security oversight, alongside unlimited technical support for the entire network, offered both remotely and via telephone. Long-term IT road mapping and infrastructure consulting will be required as requested by the city.
Responsibilities also include on-site installation and configuration of network hardware such as switches, firewalls, and wireless access points, as well as management of firewalls, VPNs for secure remote access, and wireless network optimization. The selected vendor will oversee the full lifecycle of both physical and virtual servers, handling all aspects of maintenance, patching, and optimization.
Additional duties involve IT asset procurement, sourcing and provisioning, and recommending hardware, operating systems, and applications to ensure a consistent technology environment for city personnel. The vendor must also deliver robust cybersecurity services, using SentinelOne for endpoint detection and response, ensuring continuous monitoring, supporting periodic security audits, and maintaining the security of all endpoints—including Windows, macOS, and mobile devices—regardless of user location.
The contract will be for a one-year period. All question submissions must be made by March 19, 2026.
